EXCERPT ON INSPIRATION™ ESSENTIAL OIL BLEND FROM TRAINING CD #67, OIL BLENDS FOR EMOTIONAL HEALTH WITH GARY YOUNG:
Inspiration™, A Blend for Prayer and Meditation
Inspiration. Oh boy! This is a beautiful one. This blend used to be known as Prayer and Meditation. When we opened Japan and starting going in, there were some of the names that wouldn't translate. This happened to be one that wouldn't translate, so it adopted the name Inspiration, which is very appropo and fitting for this purpose.
Guess what is in it? Yes, Frankincense, also Jasmine, Clary Sage, Juniper, Idaho Tansy. This truly is a blend to help move you in the space of feeling that you want to spend some time in prayer and mediation and being into a space of receiving inspiration, receiving direction, and increasing your intuitive ability. This oil blend really enhances that place on the forehead (the third eye, as some people call it), the crown chakra, and the temples and the top of the brain stem for that activity.
Attributes of Inspiration
Inspiration is also (because of the Frankincense, Juniper and Idaho Tansy) very antibiotic. They are all antibiotic oils. Jasmine also has a lot of antibiotic and antifungal properties as well. It is a very powerful oil for bladder and kidney infection. It can be taken in a capsule or applied topically and creates a very beautiful, harmonic balance.
One thing about Clary Sage–when I put it with Frankincense it creates a very euphoric feeling in the brain, almost an opening feeling. Some people have said that Clary Sage will cause hallucinations, and if you drank three or four gallons it probably would! It might cause some other things to happen, too.
Inspiration™ is something that we use if we are looking for inspiration. As I mentioned, I used it for prayer and meditation. When I go into my prayers or I just want to go into a quiet space and give thanks and just receive, then I use this oil. I put it on my temples, I put it on my crown, I put it on my chest. I just go into that space and breathe it because Frankincense really takes you back because of its spiritual connection to the Christ Child.
There is a connection there that I feel we don't totally understand, but anytime there is a connection it can move us into that space energetically, and it is a facilitator of being in a more spiritual realm or a spiritual space, a spiritual feeling–so just enjoy it when you are in that space.
